I was drawn to this because it is really beautiful!
Dating from around the mid 19th Century this piece is made entirely from foiled paste, in closed back silver pinched collet settings.
 
The central round faceted stone is foiled an amethyst colour and around it are placed four sets of three leaves, all curling slightly inwards, their facets catching the light and flashing brightly.
 
Converted from a broochto a pendant, the top now has a silver loop and an 18 carat gold ring to hold your chain.
