Earring Box!
 
Probably originating from Austro Hungaria circa 1880, this box enamelled with blue guilloche enamel and decorated with gold stars, and set with and oval floral plaque with a pearl border, opens to reveal a wine coloured velvet fitted for drop earrings!
 
The lid is lined with cream silk and the original gold label is still attached with gold russian writing and a gold double headed eagle.
 
Gilded metal trim and red leather base.
