Rare early Skeleton ring
This beautiful skeleton ring is now very worn. you can still make out the full body of the skeleton carved into the D shaped gold ring, and the hour glass, but he has been much worn and much loved.

These rings were called Memento Mori, jewelry or objects kept as a reminder of the inevitability of death, such as a skull or skeleton, often accompanied with images such as the Hourglass (symbolic og time passing) and the Scythe (swung by the Grim Reaper)
The inscription inside it has worn away.
