15 Carat Gold Victorian Garnet Padlock
 
Always in demand, I have here a large 15 carat gold Victorian padlcok.
 
The front is adorned with three cabochon garnets, set in plain gold bezels, the centre accented by a gold ball.
The reverse has the typical glass locket, the hair removed and lined with purple silk.
The locket no longer opens.
The whole locket, front and back, is chased with a foliate pattern typical of the era.
