Beautiful reverse carved intaglio modelled as the head of a Victorian Staffy.  A really deeply carved piece with hyper real detailing that can be viewed in 3d from all angles.
 
The staffy has a white blaze and a very loving expression. I love the composition, the way he comes in from the left.

The crystal is set in and 18 carat gold mount with a chain like border.
Is a brooch now but can be carefully made into a pendant if desired
