Wonderful french pendant circa 1800 with teal coloured foiled scene under glass of two love birds ontop of a column, framed with an arcade of yew trees. With the word 'Constants' in stitching below (the first C is very faded)
Constants - used in romance means endless and unswerving love
The frame is set with marcasite and has at the top crossed bow and arrow quivers with cascading ribbons and at the bottom, a wreath.
The back is engraved silver depicting flowers in a basket
