Micromosaic Butterfly Pendant Circa 1820
 
Converted from a stickpin by adding a high carat gold twisted jump ring which is totally in keeping with the gold beaded setting around the mosaic.
The butterfly is finely modelled in profile, with orange and white wings withn black accents.
Butterflies symbolize transformation, rebirth, hope, and new beginnings.
