Wonderful original georgian ring that I have rescued.
The inside of the ring was empty and i used this beautiful mircro carving with its original foil from another half complete piece of jewelry to restore the centre. It cost me a lot of money to do sadly!
The scene - a seated cherub in a folly holding a dove.
The ring, a lozenze plaque ring, with chunky bevelled glass and bright cut patterning on it’s shoulders.
Face measures 30mm x 20mm
Ring size 10.5 but can be sized
gold - 15 carat
weight - 5.5g
