Wonderful 19th Century French Enamel And Gemstone Cherub Pendant
A finely painted enamel of a cherub seated in nature on a turquoise cape, a paletter resting at his feet as he paints something beyond our view
The frame has been created to depict garlands of flowers, made from tiny diamonds, rubies and emeralds, accentuated with black enamel bows spotted with white.
The bottom drop is fashioned as a tiny basket with a pearl drop.
The back has a glass locket back. There is a small chip on the inside of the glass panel (probably when someone removed the glass to replace the hair with silk)
